Melli O’Brien is an internationally renowned educator and entrepreneur in the mental health space, specialising in mindfulness and resilience. Through her courses, retreats and app, she has helped over a million people globally.
She has been named by Mindful magazine as one of the most powerful women of the mindfulness movement and is regularly featured in the media as an expert on resilience.
Melli is the co-founder of Mindfulnes.com and The Mindfulness Summit, the world’s largest mindfulness conference. Through these projects, she has donated over $750,000 dollars for mental health charities around the world.
She is the creator of the Deep Resilience Method. A trademarked method combining mindfulness with cutting-edge, evidence based mental resilience skills that is aimed at helping people stay mentally strong during times of high stress or adversity.
Melli’s own passion for teaching mental strength stems from her first-hand experience of overcoming depression and an eating disorder in her teens. After learning mindfulness at the age of seventeen she had a series of breakthroughs that radically changed the state of her mind and ultimately her entire life.
